Merino is one of the softest types of wool available, due to finer fibers and being able to weave it at smaller scales. It is well known for regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin and the wool provides some warmth, without overheating the wearer like normal wool.
Merino also draws moisture away from the skin, which is known as wicking and provides the wearer the ability to stay cool and dry, and also just like most wools, merino contains lanolin which has antibacterial properties ensuring it doesn’t absorb smell.

So do you have trouble with the cold? Or do you just need a little more insulation, but dont want to over heat? Then this Merino Baselayer set is ideal for you whether you’re up in the snow, out in the mountain or just wearing it as an under garment on cold days. Thumb holes in the arms let you keep your hands warm, a small stash pocket on your right lets you hide small objects and a relaxed crew neck is not restricting and ensures comfort. The pants have a 3.5cm thick elastic band and relaxed non-cuffed ankles to ensure comfort and fitting.
