What do you need to be able to use the Torpedo7 Bike Carrier?

You need roof racks that run horizontally across your roof, like the Torpedo7 Roof Rack.

How adjustable is the Torpedo7 Bike Carrier?
In a word - VERY. You can Adjust;

The channel length to suit the spacing between your roof racks. Maximum - 1230mm (approx). Minimum - 800mm (approx).
From front axle to where rear tyre touches channel: 740 - 1180mm (approx)
The clamps that secure to your roof rack bars are interchangable with two different sizes included; one for standard bars, the other for oversized bars.

Please note:

Please consider how you will attach your frame to this workstand. While this workstand will support the weight of a downhill bike it will not support it without the jaws rotating if you if you suspend it by the seat-post, the weight at the front of the bike will either pull the stand over or rotate the jaws. The weight of the bike needs to be reasonably central on the workstand to get the best results. A road bike should be fine to suspend by its seat-post. The jaws of this workstand are safe for use with lightweight aluminium or carbon fibre frames as long as the jaws are not overtightened (and tubung is less than the stated 52mm diameter).
